For most women wearing a sew in or quick weave it can become very hot in the summer months the best Technique Watkinstyle suggest is using a net or cap! this technique allows you to wear hair up and down when needed. Best Braids are singles (small) with a human hair (which is light ).
These are just some of my suggestions that I give to my clients. Living in AZ & NV with the scorching Heat We feel everyone should have a few tips on how to take care of your hair.
You should not use any heavy greases or hair products daily on your hair. I suggest that you use a small amount of oil for moisture and shine, Also think of using a leave in conditioner . Weave- Braids are very common in the summer but you have to always remember to still take care of them . Wash them at least 1-2 times a week and make sure you keep them oiled. Always remember to have them redone in a timely manner . Weaves- Sew In's I suggest that in in the summer months if you are going to do a sew in do it with a net. There is enough stress on the hair from the heat do not strain it with the weight on the hair and the string. These are just a few of my suggestions I hope they help .
